ADVICE & TIPS                                                                  STYLE GUIDE

how to measureIf you're right on the edge of two sizes, order the larger. You order your gown to fit your largest measurement size. So if your bust equals a size 14, your waist a size 12 and your hips a 12, you would order the 14. Gown sizes may be, and often are, very different than regular clothing. Remember, its easier to cut a dress down than to try to lose that last inch, especially with all the goodies at the teas and showers!

Use a vinyl tape-measure; fabric ones tend to stretch over time and your dress will be ordered too small. When you measure, wear shoes with a heel height similar to what you plan to wear on your wedding day, wear a similar bra or bustier and, if you have one laying around, wear a similar petticoat. Your dress manufacturer may not need all these measurements, but it's good to have them all, just in case.

Keep in mind that the measurements are taken to determine the closest size to be ordered and that the garment will not be custom-made to the exact measurements. Almost every gown will need some type of adjustment. Prior to selecting your size to order, we suggest reviewing the information provided in "How to Measure" which will be emailed to you once your order has been placed.

The manufacture will be unable to accommodate any changes to the size once the order has been placed. SIZE CHART waist sensitive mean? This means that the size of the dress is dependant on your bust and waist measurements. Please be generous when measuring yourself to allow room for your wedding lunch!

HOW TO MEASURE

A, Bust - Measure around the fullest part of your bust, not underneath, and always try and wear a bra similar to one that you would wear on the day if under wired, measure yourself around an under wired bra.

B, Waist - This is your natural waist, below the rib cage and just above the hip bones, NOT the fullest part of the tummy. The tape measure should sit just above the tummy button.

C, Hips - This measurement is around the fullest part of your bottom (not around the hip bones), although not an essential measurement for an 'A' line skirt/dress as the dress flairs away from the hips, it is however an essential measurement for a straight skirt.

Rules to follow: If unsure or you fall between sizes work to your fullest measurement and always buy bigger. Its much easier to have a dress taken in than let out. Remember underwear can affect your sizing, always measure yourself with underwear similar to that you intend to wear on the day, i.e underwired/padded bra.
